Family & Football

As Curtis notes below, I didn’t write anything about how the New England Patriots are now only the third team in the history of the NFL to have a perfect season, and that they have the most wins in a regular season. Nor have I written how Tom Brady now holds the record for most touchdown passes, nor that Randy Moss now holds the record for most touchdown receptions.
I have been remiss in my Boston triumphalism simply because this weekend I had a wedding to go to. Don’t worry, it didn’t interfere with me watching the Pats-Giants game.
My cousin Kate was the one doing the marrying, and the whole extended family (mostly) showed up for the shindig. The “rehearsal dinner” was in the local winery (and, in true Ambrose fashion, we drank the place dry. I kid you not!). The wedding took place in the local RC church, and then off to the local manor for the reception. It was a great time, and we got to see family that I haven’t seen since Grandma and Grandpa moved to NC!
